You won't easily find better weather anywhere else!

Knysna has a mild climate, with very hot summers and temperate winters. Our weather is usually better than other areas of the Western Cape, including Cape Town. The average Knysna and Garden Route Temperatures:

• Summer: December to February (Day Time: 26 C / 79 F- 35 C / 95 F; Night Time: 12 C / 54 F - 15 C / 59 F)
• Autumn: March to May (variations of summer and winter temps)
• Winter: June to August (Day Time: 15 C / 59 F- 20 C / 68 F; Night Time: 5 C / 41 F- 8 C / 46 F)
• Spring: September to November (variations of summer and winter temps)

The Garden Route and the surrounding area has a Fynbos-Coastal Climate, we get rain throughout the year, hot summers - where temperatures reach upwards to 35 Degrees C / 95 Degrees F and mild winters, where snow can be seen on the Outeniqua Mountains. Evening and nights can be cold and windy days can bring the temperature down.
